Mode of Action
Bensulfuron Methyl is a selective internal absorption conduction herbicide. The medicament diffuses rapidly in water and transfers to other parts after being absorbed by the roots and leaves of weeds, hindering the biosynthesis of branched chain amino acids. The growth function of sensitive weeds is blocked, young tissues turn yellow prematurely, and the growth of leaves and roots is inhibited. It can effectively control 1-year-old and perennial broad-leaved weeds and sedges in rice fields, and can be absorbed by miscellaneous grass roots and leaves and transmitted to other parts. It is safe for rice and flexible in use.
Precaution:
1. Bensulfuron methyl has a good effect on weeds within 2-leaf period, but it has a poor effect when it exceeds 3-leaf period.
2. The effect on barnyard grass is poor, and it is unsuitable to use barnyard grass mainly in seedling fields.
3. Wash the spray appliance after use.
4. There must be a 3-5cm water layer in the paddy field when applying the pesticide, so that the pesticide can be evenly distributed. Do not drain or drip water for 7 days after application, so as not to reduce the efficacy.
5. The dosage of this medicine is small, and it must be weighed accurately.
6. It is applicable to the plots with broad leaf weeds and grass predominance and the plots with less barnyard grass, depending on the grass conditions in the field.
