Mode of Action
Diazinon is a highly efficient and low-toxic organophosphorus insecticide. It mainly inhibits the synthesis of acetylcholinesterase in pests, thereby completely killing them. It can not only be sprayed on leaves to control Lepidoptera, Homoptera, etc. It can also be used for seed dressing and soil treatment to control underground pests.

Diazinon can be widely used in wheat, corn, rice, potatoes, peanuts, green onions, soybeans, cotton, tobacco, sugar cane, ginseng and orchards.
Act on these Pests:
Diazinon can effectively control underground pests and eggs such as mole crickets, grubs, wireworms, cutworms, rice borers, rice leafhoppers, Spodoptera exigua, meadow borers, locusts, root maggots and other underground pests. It can also be used to lose corn cobs and control pests such as corn borers.
Using Method
(1) Spread alms. For direct-seeded crops such as wheat, corn, potatoes, and peanuts, it can be combined with soil preparation and fertilization. Use 1,000 to 2,000 grams of 5% diazinon granules per acre mixed with fine soil and spread evenly, then sow. This can kill mole crickets, grubs, wireworms, Underground pests such as cutworms protect seeds and seedlings from pest damage.
(2) Acupoint application. For vegetables such as tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, watermelons, pumpkins, and cucumbers, 500 to 1,000 grams of 5% diazinon granules per acre can be used when planting, and 30 to 50 kilograms of fully decomposed organic fertilizer can be added and mixed well. Finally, hole application can quickly kill underground pests such as mole crickets, wireworms, grubs, and cutworms, and prevent pests from harming the roots and stems of seedlings.
Precautions
1. Diazinon is irritating and contact with eyes, skin and respiratory system should be avoided;
2. Personal protective equipment such as protective gloves, protective glasses, and protective masks should be worn during use;
3. During storage and disposal, avoid mixing with oxidants, strong acids and other substances;
4. If accidentally inhaled or swallowed, seek medical treatment immediately.
