Introduction
Cyflumetofen is a new acylacetonitrile acaricide developed by Japan's Otsuka Chemical Company and has no cross-resistance with existing insecticides. It was registered and sold in Japan for the first time in 2007. It is used to control the main mites parasitic on plants in crops and flowers such as fruit trees, vegetables, tea trees and so on. It is effective against both eggs and adults of spider mites, and is more active against nymphal mites. According to experimental comparisons, fenflufenate is superior to spirodiclofen and abamectin in all aspects.

Mode of Action
Cyflumetofen is a non-systemic acaricide whose main mode of action is contact killing. After it enters the body of the mite through contact, it can be metabolized in the body of the mite to produce the extremely active substance AB-1. This substance immediately inhibits the respiration of mite mitochondrial complex II. The test results show that AB-1 has a strong inhibitory effect on the mitochondrial complex II of spider mites, with an LC50 of 6.55 nm. As Cyflumetofen continues to be metabolized into AB-1 in the mites, the concentration of AB-1 continues to rise, and the respiration of the mites is increasingly inhibited. Finally achieve the prevention and control effect. It can be inferred that the main mechanism of action of Cyflumetofen is to inhibit the respiration of mite mitochondria.

Act on these Pests:
