Introduction
Dinotefuran is a neonicotinoid insecticide developed by Mitsui Chemicals. It is mainly used to control aphids, whiteflies, thrips, leafhoppers, leaf miners, sawflies, mole crickets, scarabs, web bugs, weevils, beetles, Mealybugs and cockroaches are common pests in vegetable growing, residential construction, and lawn management. Its mechanism of action is to inhibit nicotinic acetylcholine receptors to cause disruption of the insect nervous system. To avoid harming bees and other beneficial insects, use during the flowering period should be avoided.

Mode of Action
Dinotefuran, like nicotine and other neonicotinoid pesticides, targets the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) agonist. Dinotefuran is a neurotoxin that can inhibit the central nervous system of insects by inhibiting acetylcholine receptors. The nervous system is disordered, thus interfering with the normal neural activity of the insect, causing interruption of the transmission of stimuli, causing the insect to be in a state of extreme excitement and gradually die of paralysis. Dinotefuran not only has contact and stomach poisoning effects, but also has excellent systemic, penetration and conduction effects, and can be rapidly absorbed by the stems, leaves and roots of plants.
