Mode of action
As a broad-spectrum fumigation insecticide, aluminum phosphide is mainly used to fumigate storage pests of goods, multiple pests in space, stored grain pests of grain, stored grain pests of seeds, outdoor rodents in caves, etc. After absorbing water, aluminum phosphide will immediately produce highly toxic phosphine gas, which enters the body through the respiratory system of insects (or mice and other animals), acts on the respiratory chain of cell mitochondria and cytochrome oxidase, inhibits its normal respiration and kills. Phosphine is not easy to be inhaled by insects in the absence of oxygen and does not show toxicity. Phosphine can be inhaled in the presence of oxygen and cause death to insects. Insects in high concentration of phosphine will produce paralysis or protective coma, and their respiration will be reduced. Preparations can be used to fumigate raw grains, finished grains, oils and dried potatoes. If seeds are fumigated, their water requirements are different for different crops.
Scope of application
In the sealed warehouse or container, all kinds of stored grain pests can be directly killed, and the rats in the warehouse can be killed. If pests have appeared in the granary, they can also be killed well. Phosphine can also be used when mites, lice, fur coats, and down insects of household and shop articles are eaten or pests are avoided. When used in sealed greenhouses, glass houses and plastic greenhouses, it can directly kill all underground and aboveground pests and mice, and can penetrate into plants to kill borers and root nematodes. Thick sealed plastic bags and greenhouses can be used to deal with open flower bases and export potted flowers, killing nematodes in the ground and plants and various pests on plants.
It can be used as fumigation insecticide for granary, and the mixture with ammonium carbamate can be used as a pesticide and also used for welding.
Usage method
Take the preparation with 56% content as an example:
1. 3~8 pieces of stored grain or goods per ton; 2~5 pieces of stacking or goods per cubic meter; 1-4 pieces per cubic meter of fumigation space.
2. After steaming, open the curtain or plastic film, open the doors and windows or ventilation gates, and use natural or mechanical ventilation to fully disperse the gas and exhaust the toxic gas.
3. When entering the warehouse, use test paper soaked in 5%~10% silver nitrate solution to test the toxic gas, and enter the warehouse only when there is no phosphine gas.
4. Fumigation time depends on temperature and humidity. Fumigation is not suitable below 5 ℃; No less than 14 days at 5 ℃~9 ℃; 10 ℃~16 ℃ for no less than 7 days; No less than 4 days at 16 ℃~25 ℃; Above 25 ℃, no less than 3 days. Fumigate 1~2 voles per rat hole.
Storage and transportation
In the process of loading, unloading and transportation, the preparation products shall be handled with care, and moisture, high temperature or sunlight shall be strictly prevented. This product should be stored in a cool, dry, well ventilated place, and must be stored in a closed place. Keep away from livestock and poultry and have them kept by special personnel. Fireworks are strictly prohibited in the warehouse. In case of drug fire during storage, do not use water or acid substances to extinguish the fire. Use carbon dioxide or dry sand to extinguish the fire. Keep away from children, and do not store and transport food, drink, grain, feed and other items at the same time.
