Mode of Action
Pyriproxyfen is a juvenile hormone chitin synthesis inhibitor. It mainly inhibits the synthesis of chitin in pests, so that the pests cannot form epidermis during molting, and the pupae cannot emerge into adults. It also inhibits embryonic development and egg development. The eggs produced by the pests are inactive eggs.
