Mode of Action
s-metolachlor is a refined active S-body obtained by successfully removing the inactive R-body using advanced technology based on the amide herbicide metolachlor. Like metolachlor, s-metolachlor is a cell division inhibitor that inhibits cell growth mainly by inhibiting the synthesis of long-chain fatty acids. In addition to having the advantages of metolachlor, s-metolachlor is superior to metolachlor in terms of safety and control effect. At the same time, according to toxicological research results, its toxicity is lower than metolachlor, even only one-tenth of the latter's toxicity.

S-metolachlor is a selective pre-emergent herbicide that mainly controls annual grass weeds and some broadleaf weeds. Mainly used in corn, soybeans, peanuts, sugar cane, cotton, rapeseed, potatoes, onions, peppers, cabbage, and orchard nurseries.

Using Method
1) Soybeans: If it is spring soybeans, use 60-85ml of S-Metolachlor 96% EC per acre mixed with water and spray; if it is summer soybeans, use 50-85ml of 96% refined metolachlor EC per acre mixed with water. spray.
(2) Cotton: Spray 50-85ml of S-Metolachlor96%EC mixed with water per acre.
(3) Sugarcane: Spray 47-56ml of S-Metolachlor96%EC mixed with water per acre.
(4) Rice transplanting fields: Spray 4-7 ml of S-Metolachlor96%EC mixed with water per acre.
(5) Rapeseed: When the soil organic matter content is less than 3%, use 50-100ml of S-Metolachlor 96% EC mixed with water and spray per mu of land; when the soil organic matter content is above 4%, use 70-130ml of S-Metolachlor per mu of land. Metolachlor96%EC mixed with water and sprayed.
(6) Sugar beet: After sowing or before transplanting, use 50-120ml of S-Metolachlor96% EC per acre and spray with water.
(7) Corn: From after sowing to before emergence, use 50-85ml of S-Metolachlor 96% EC mixed with water and spray per acre.
(8) Peanuts: After sowing, for peanuts cultivated on bare land, use 50-100ml of S-Metolachlor96% EC per mu of land and spray with water; for peanuts cultivated with film covering, use 50-90ml of S-Metolachlor96% per mu of land. EC is mixed with water and sprayed.
Precautions
1. Generally not applied to rainy areas and sandy soils with organic matter content below 1%.
2. Since this product has a certain irritating effect on the eyes and skin, please pay attention to protection when spraying.
3. If the soil moisture is suitable, the weeding effect will be good. In case of drought, the weeding effect will be poor, so the soil should be mixed in time after application.
4. This product should be stored in a dry, cool place. Crystals will precipitate when stored below -10 degrees Celsius. When using, warm water should be heated outside the container to slowly dissolve the crystals without affecting the efficacy.
