Mode of Action

Pendimethalin is a selective pre-emergence and post-emergence upland soil treatment herbicide. Weeds absorb chemicals through germinating buds, and the chemicals that enter the plant bind to tubulin and inhibit the mitosis of plant cells, causing the death of weeds.

Suitable crops:

Suitable for rice, cotton, corn, tobacco, peanuts, vegetables (cabbage, spinach, carrots, potatoes, garlic, onions, etc.) and orchard crops

Act on these Weeds:

Annual grassy weeds, some broadleaf weeds and sedges. Such as: barnyard grass, crabgrass, foxtail grass, stephanotis, goosegrass, purslane, amaranth, pigweed, amaranth, nightshade, crushed rice sedge, special-shaped sedge, etc.

Using Method

① Used in rice fields: In southern rice areas, it is often used for spraying before germination of direct-seeded rice seeds for soil sealing treatment. Generally, 150 to 200 ml of 330 g/L of pendimethalin EC is used per mu.

② Used in cotton fields: For direct-seeded cotton fields, use 150-200 ml of 33% EC per acre and 15-20 kg of water. Spray the topsoil before sowing or after sowing and before emergence.

③ Used in rapeseed fields: After sowing and covering the direct seeding rapeseed fields, spray the topsoil and use 100-150ml of 33% EC per acre. Spray the topsoil 1 to 2 days before transplanting in rapeseed fields, and use 150 to 200 ml of 33% EC per mu.

④ Used in vegetable fields: In direct-seeded fields such as garlic, ginger, carrots, leeks, onions, and celery, use 100 to 150 ml of 33% EC per acre and 15 to 20 kg of water. After sowing and covering with soil, spray the topsoil. For transplanting fields of peppers, tomatoes, leeks, green onions, onions, cauliflower, cabbage, cabbage, eggplant, etc., use 100 to 150 ml of 33% EC per acre and 15 to 20 kg of water. Spray the topsoil 1 to 2 days before transplanting.

⑤ Used in soybean and peanut fields: For spring soybeans and spring peanuts, use 200-300 ml of 33% EC per acre and 15-20 kg of water. After soil preparation, apply pesticide and mix with soil, and then sow. For summer soybeans and summer peanuts, use 150 to 200 ml of 33% EC per acre and 15 to 20 kg of water. Spray the topsoil 1 to 2 days after sowing. Application too late may cause phytotoxicity.

⑥ Used in corn fields: For spring corn, use 200 to 300 ml of 33% EC per acre and 15 to 20 kilograms of water. Spray the soil surface within 3 days after sowing and before emergence. Application too late will easily cause phytotoxicity to the corn; summer corn Use 150-200 ml of 33% EC per acre and 15-20 kg of water. Spray the topsoil within 3 days after sowing and before emergence.

⑦ Use in orchards: Before weeds are unearthed, use 200 to 300 ml of 33% EC per acre and spray it with water on the topsoil.

Notice

1. Low doses are used for soils with low organic matter content, sandy soils, low-lying areas, etc., and high doses are used for areas with high soil organic matter content, clay soils, arid climate, and low soil moisture content.

2. Under insufficient soil moisture or dry climate conditions, 3-5 cm of soil needs to be mixed after application.

3. Crops such as beet, radish (except carrot), spinach, melon, watermelon, rapeseed, tobacco, etc. are sensitive to this product and are prone to phytotoxicity. This product must not be used on these crops.

4. This product has strong adsorption in the soil and will not be leached into the deep soil. Rain after application will not only not affect the weeding effect, but also improve the weeding effect without re-spraying.

5. The shelf life of this product in the soil is 45-60 days.
